    Neurosurgeon

    The Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is looking to expand its surgical neuro oncology and skull-based services by adding an additional board-eligible/board-certified neurosurgeon to its team. Those with training, special interest, and/or expertise in cranial surgery are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, and medical neurologists with dedicated areas of expertise, along with a team of clinical mid-level professionals. General neurosurgery call is required. Fellowship in neurosurgical oncology or skull base is preferred.

    This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

    Job Description

    • Join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, and medical neurologists.
    • Participate in general neurosurgery call.
    • Utilize advanced technology and innovative procedures to treat a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including brain tumors, vascular disease, traumatic brain injuries, degenerative spinal conditions, spinal cord injuries, epilepsy, and stroke.
    • Provide a wide range of surgical services, including pediatric surgery, pituitary surgery, tumor surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, functional neurosurgery, and spinal reconstruction surgery.
    • Perform intraoperative image-guided brain and spinal surgery, as well as robotics.
