    General Surgeon

    This Georgia Health System is currently recruiting a General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team for a new hospital location. This brand-new facility will be opening in the Spring of 2024. If you are an experienced surgeon with a passion for excellence in patient care, equally competent clinical skills, and are team-oriented, please apply! We are located in one of the fastest growing areas in the state. The ideal candidate is an experienced surgeon interested in bread and butter, elective outpatient surgery. A dedicated APP will work alongside the surgeon and assist with rounding and clinic.

    Job Description

    Requirements

    • Medical Doctor
    • Board Certified in General Surgery
    • Demonstrated interest in endoscopy and colonoscopy
    • Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
    • Functions appropriately as part of the care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills
    • Excellent clinical skills
    • Team-oriented
    • At least 3 years of surgical experience required

    Opportunity Overview

    • Brand new facility opening in April 2024
    • Start date will align with the opening of that hospital location
    • Facility will have 3 ORs with an Endovascular suite, emergency services, and 16 beds
    • Clinic space will be in the attached Medical Office Building along with other NGPG specialties
    • Supported by our Level I Trauma Center TACS team and subspecialty surgical support
    • Clinic 2-3 days per week
    • EMR Platform: EPIC
    • 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
    • Full diagnostic imaging
