    Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

    We are currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve patients in our Suzanne Gresham Center located in Muncie, Indiana, which is less than an hour away from our capital city, Indianapolis. This position will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

    At the Suzanne Gresham Center, Meridian Health Services provides complete treatment services for East Central Indiana's children and their families. We help children with emotional or psychological needs, foster care placement, addiction issues, and other behavioral health needs.

    The Gresham Center includes a regional Child Advocacy Center, which offers interviews and investigations of children who have experienced abuse. The Child Advocacy Center allows community law enforcement and legal teams to pursue reports of child abuse more effectively in an environment designed to keep children's comfort and well-being as a top priority. The Gresham Center maintains a caring and healing environment for victims of child abuse.

    Job Description

    • Provide outpatient psychiatric services to children and adolescents
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
    • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy
    • Participate in community outreach and education efforts

    Requirements

    • MD or its foreign equivalent with ECFMG certification
    • A current and valid Physician License in the State of Indiana
    • Board Certified OR Board Eligible with plans to get Board certified
    • Fellowship is a plus
    • 2 years' prior experience preferred
    • Experience in a community mental health setting preferred
