Meritus Health is expanding its gastroenterology team and seeking a highly skilled Advanced GI Physician with expertise in ERCP and EUS to meet the growing demand for complex GI care in our community. This is a unique opportunity to lead innovation, reduce patient transfers, and bring advanced procedures closer to home.

Job Description

• Join a thriving GI practice with 1 open position to expand ERCP coverage and launch EUS services
• Balanced schedule:
  • 2.5 days/week in clinic
  • 2.5 days/week in OR, hospital, or ASC settings
• Full-time hours with dedicated Advanced GI call rotation (separate from general GI call)
• Flexible scheduling options available (e.g., 4-day workweek)

Requirements

• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Advanced procedural skills in ERCP and EUS
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-volume environment

Support & Resources

• Dedicated practice staff, OR team, and administrative support
• Strong general GI group with high procedural demand (currently scheduling out 4+ months)
• Opportunity to launch EUS services and expand ERCP coverage
• Strategic focus on reducing transfers, improving RVU productivity, and enhancing patient satisfaction

Compensation Information

$675,000/year with other incentives including a $150,000 sign-on bonus and relocation bonuses offered.
