    Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician

    Meritus Health is seeking several Family Medicine with Obstetrics (both surgically and non-surgically trained) physicians to join their Core Faculty Family Medicine Residency program (MFMR). The FMOBs will oversee resident training in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health. The FMOB models the care of pregnant people in the context of family medicine, including deliveries, antepartum and post-partum care, lactation and contraception management.

    Job Description

    • Work collaboratively with residency leadership and other maternity care providers at Meritus Medical Center and the Washington County community to ensure excellence in all aspects of prenatal care, maternity care, postpartum care, and care of mother-baby couplets within the Meritus Family Medicine Residency program.
    • Ensure high quality clinical and educational opportunities for family medicine residents and other learners to gain competence and excellence in maternity care and the care of women.
    • Provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the institution's missions and goals of teaching, patient care, outreach, research, and public service.
    • Outpatient responsibilities
    • Participate in OB LDRP
    • Call 4x a month
    • Designated time for administrative work
    • Opportunity for full-spectrum FM faculty with inpatient adult medicine is available with this opportunity as well, but not required

    Compensation Information

    $280,000.00 / Annually - $315,000.00 / Annually
