Job Description

• As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays.
• With average stays of two to three weeks, you'll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient's progress.
• You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly.
• Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
• Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational or Associate's Degree in Nursing Graduate.
• (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse, or (GVN) Graduate Vocational Nurse.
