    Experienced Cardio Physician Assistant

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Cardiology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions
    • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
    • Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and post-procedural care
    • Assist with hospital rounding and transitions of care as needed
    • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state licensure and scope of practice
    • Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited school of Physician Assistant
    • Recognition as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
    • Unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA
    • At least two (2) years of Cardiology experience required
    • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
    • Fluent in Vietnamese is a plus, but not required
