    Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)

    To provide direct services as a part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Clinician will provide direct care including individual and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning.

    Job Description

    • Participate in direct care to assess needs and coordinate services to the appropriate population
    • Provide initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care planning
    • Assess using standardized screening tools, measures, etc.
    • Provide brief, solution-focused therapy
    • Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to specific diagnoses/presenting issues
    • Provide information and referral services
    • Participate in care coordination
    • Maintain daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systems
    • Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families
    • Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners and agencies
    • Complete required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
    • Participate in our high-risk program
    • Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients including the LGBTQ+ community
    • Maintain case load dependent on need
    • Provide supervision and clinical oversight to master's level students/interns
    • Provide mentoring and training to newly hired staff as appropriate

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
    • Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
    • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
    • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized
    • Must be able to work as a part of a team

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience providing direct clinical care is desirable
    • Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care, etc.
    • Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
    • Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
