Phlebotomist
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKGs, order entry, and specimen processing.
Job Description
- Department: Laboratory
- Hours: Part-Time/20 hours
- Shift: Days, 1st Shift
Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certificate or 1 year of experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
- 2 years of experience with adult education and instructional design
