Join our dynamic team as a Radiologic Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging department. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week and is eligible for benefits, with day shifts including inpatient weekend hours.

Job Description

• Using independent judgment, the Radiologic Technologist performs a wide range of imaging procedures.
• Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging procedures.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
• Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services.
• Assists new employees and students in training as needed.
• Implements patient procedures in accordance with the health system policies, protocols, and standards.
• Proficient in the operation of all relevant equipment and computer systems.
• Adheres to the prescribed standards of safety and HIPAA within the healthcare organization.
• Works independently using professional judgment.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer License/Eligible.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems.
• Google experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• AS/BS degree preferred.
• Good work ethic.
