Join our team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, located at 1086 Franklin Street, Johnstown, PA 15905. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a focus on providing comprehensive care in Internal Medicine Hematology/Oncology.

Job Description

• Coverage type includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
• The locum coverage is needed for an ongoing basis due to a vacancy and long-term permanent search.
• Scheduled clinic hours plus call are required, with a call response time of 30 minutes and a call ratio of 1:2.
• Expected patient volume is 12-15 patients per shift.
• Hospital rounds and consults are to be completed daily during assigned weeks, including Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends (4 hours per day of onsite work).
• EMR system used is Epic.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• Life support certifications are required.
• COVID vaccine or exemption is required.
• Supervision of Advance Practice Providers is necessary.

Benefits

• Support staff includes 6 RNs, 3 MAs, 2 PAs/NPs, and 15 office staff.
• Shift times are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with possible travel two days per week to an outlying office in Somerset (30 minutes from the main campus).
