Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for a permanent position in Mason City, Iowa. Job Description

• Provide anesthesia for cardiac and thoracic surgeries including CABG, valve replacement, and other complex procedures.
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Deliver anesthesia for general surgical cases as needed.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and critical care teams to ensure optimal perioperative outcomes.
• Participate in call rotation as part of the anesthesia department.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia (MD/DO).
• Eligible for medical licensure in Iowa.
• Advanced TEE certification preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment and team collaboration skills.
