Pediatric Hospitalist

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a BC Pediatric Hospitalist in Ahoskie, NC, to provide coverage for their team. The physician is required to come in and round, and then be on call. It is not required to stay in the hospital, but the physician must come in the day before for orientation.

Job Description

• Inpatient only
• Average total inpatient census: 5
• Average number of patients per day per provider: 2
• Average number of admissions per day per provider: 2
• BLS/PALS/NRP required
• No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
• Responds to codes
• 10 bed pediatric unit
• Coverage of newborn nursery, scheduled C-sections, and deliveries
• Not required to remain on site during call but must be within 30 minutes of the facility
• Low volume emergency department
• EMR = EPIC (HealthSpan)
