Job Description

• Weekday and weekend shifts available
• Onsite loosely from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., leave after rounds, then phone call coverage in the evening
• Onsite responsibilities include rounding on 12-17 patients, plus consults. No procedures.
• Nightly calls: 0-2 outpatient calls, 8 inpatient calls/texts typically from CCU on hemodynamic related management decisions, fellows regarding floor patients, incoming transfers, and HF service admissions as needed, and sometimes the VAD NP will call if urgent

Requirements

• Certifications: BC/BE Cardiology, and preferably fellowship trained in Advanced Heart Failure
• Licenses: Active DE license and DEA are ideal or an active license in the interstate compact
