We are looking for two seasoned Psychiatrists to moonlight for our client in central North Carolina. They are committed to improving the health of the citizens of Alamance County and its surrounding communities through the provision of a continuum of high-quality clinical, educational, preventive-wellness, and support services in a safe and friendly environment. Nestled in the heart of NC, Burlington offers easy access to the Historic District, Dentzel Menagerie Carousel, and Alamance Battleground and Museum; just a few of the great historical finds the area has to offer. There is so much to see and do including shopping, old-fashioned baseball, farm-to-table dining, and a 500-acre nature preserve that offers horseback riding, hiking trails, golf, and an abundance of outdoor activities.

Job Description

• BE/BC in Psychiatry, licensed in the state of NC, and active NC DEA number
• Two positions available: ER/Consult position or Inpatient Psychiatry Unit
• General duties for both roles include admissions, consults, call coverage, and discharges
• Shifts are Friday to Monday morning:
  • Minimum 6-hour shift for ER & floor consults
  • 12-hour shift on inpatient unit & medical floor consults
  • On-call starts when onsite work is completed (usually 5 PM each day until 8 AM the next morning)
• Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate
