    Endocrine Specialist in Thyroid Neoplasms

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a full-time academic endocrine specialist in thyroid neoplasms to participate in clinical care, research, and teaching in charming Charleston, SC. The chosen candidate will play a key role in educating future leaders in Endocrinology, as well as broadening access to Endocrinology diagnosis and treatment for patients in Charleston and the surrounding areas.

    Job Description

    • Treat patients with a full spectrum of thyroid neoplasms, including evaluation and treatment of thyroid nodule disease using ultrasound and fine needle aspiration and the treatment of complex thyroid cancers
    • Involvement in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
    • Join a collegial team of Endocrinologists, APPs, and support staff
    • Opportunities to collaborate with general surgeons, head & neck surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, advanced practice providers, and fellows

    Requirements

    • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology
    • Academic orientation, interest in teaching, and passion for outreach
    • Candidates with 5 years experience in the field and research funding preferred
