Job Description

• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract Length: 3 months
• Shift Details: 3x12 hour shifts
• Schedule: Nights, 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Level IV NICU intensive care unit
• Patient population/age: Neonates
• Care for extremely low birth weight infants, infants with birth trauma, asphyxia, and infants with urgent surgical needs
• Will not be caring for ECMO patients, but must have all other NICU procedures
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, surfactant administration, line placement (UAC, UVC, PAL, PICC placement), needle thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion

Requirements

• Master's in PA Studies
• Board Certification: Yes
• California License required
• PALS, BLS must be AHA certifications
• NRP certification is required
• Minimum experience required: At least 2 years experience
