We are currently seeking a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team.

Job Description

• Anticipated start date: March 2026
• Salary: $152-$160 hourly
• Anticipated duration of assignment: 26 weeks
• Anticipated schedule: 5 x 8, full time, 4 weeks/month
• Support staff: outpatient: surgery scheduler, MA, scribe. Inpatient work is more independent, working with surgeon directly.
• Patients per day: growing service line, in clinic usually 15-20 patients/day. 5-7 surgery/week
• Patient population/age: all adult
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: remove drains, basic wound dressing, suture/staple removal

Requirements

• Board Certification: Yes, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
• License required: CA
• DEA: Yes with Schedule 2/2n
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: strongly prefer 3-5 years of experience in neurosurgery, at least 1 year required
• Preferred surgical specialty and/or procedural experience in a complex and/or high acuity environment
• Experience with neurosurgery inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred
