    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Montgomery, AL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients improve their speech, language, and overall quality of life.

    Job Description

    • Conduct patient evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient-specific needs and goals.
    • Provide therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based techniques and assistive technology as needed.
    • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, home exercises, and swallowing techniques.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR).
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Stay up to date with industry best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Current Alabama SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).
    • CPR certification (preferred).
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Previous experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
