    PRN Physical Therapist (PT)

    We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Mobile, AL. This as-needed position offers flexibility while allowing you to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.

    Job Description

    • Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to restore function and improve mobility.
    • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.
    • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in electronic medical records (EMR).
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation.

    Requirements

    • Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Current Alabama PT license or eligibility for licensure.
    • CPR certification (preferred).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Previous experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required).
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.

    Work Environment

    • PRN (as-needed) position with a flexible schedule.
    • Work settings may include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health.
