Job Description

We will only review providers who will work nights. If they are strictly days, then we will not be able to clear them.

• Guaranteed hours: 8
• Overtime applies after: 12, although no overtime is expected and should be pre-approved by the medical director.

Candidate must have an active CA license. Looking for 1-3 providers depending on availability. Must be board-certified or board-eligible within 5 years. ABEM/ABEOM certified (will not accept ABIM/ABFM). Average number of patients in 24 hours is 110.

• All HBS specialties require 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
• Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
• Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.

Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement):

• Not reimbursed:

  • Mileage from provider's home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.
  • Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider's home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.

• Will be reimbursed:

  • Airport parking at provider's departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.
  • Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved prior to booking; otherwise, it will not be reimbursed.
  • Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips.
