Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join our team as an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This position offers an opportunity for ongoing coverage in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

• Coverage needed for blocks of shifts from December 24 to January 3.
• Orientation required on December 23.
• All shifts are from 12 PM to 10 PM.
• Average of 36 patients seen per day (total, not by the APP alone).
• Support staff includes ED Physicians and ED RNs.
• Both inpatient and outpatient care provided.
• Charting is done using Meditech.
• Board certified or board eligible candidates are welcome.
• Fellowship is not required.
• Reason for need is scheduling requirements.
• Average number of admissions per shift is 3 per day.

Requirements

• Will not accept IMLC as Michigan will no longer participate in the Expedited Medical Compact Licensure as of March 2026.
• Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, or as fast as the provider can submit required documents.
• Temporary privileges are granted in needed situations.
