Locum - Urology PA or NP

Join our team as a Locum Urology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position offers a guarantee of 8 hours per day with opportunities for overtime after 8 hours.

Job Description

• Hours would be 8 am to 5 pm with 1-2 hours of hospital rounding included, depending on how many patients are in the hospital at the time. It would look like 8 am to 3 pm in the clinic and 3 pm to 5 pm at the hospital, for example.
• NNCCPA board certification is required.
• The candidate must be able to operate independently; minimal training will be provided, so proficiency is necessary.

Requirements

• Active California License and California DEA are required.
• All specialties require 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
• Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
• Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.

Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are submitted. The typical turnaround for RFA is 48-72 hours, and the application should be submitted within 5 days.
