Job Description
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Provide clear treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Document visits accurately in the electronic health record
- Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks
Position Highlights

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
- Board certification required (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC or AANP for NPs FNP preferred)
- DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- BLS certification
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Preferred Experience
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial x-ray interpretation before radiology over-read
