    Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in Aurora, Colorado. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking schedule flexibility while practicing engaging urgent care medicine in a supportive, well-structured clinical environment.

    Job Description

    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
    • Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
    • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
    • Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
    • Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
    • Code and bill services appropriately
    • Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
    • Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

    Requirements

    • Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
    • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care required
    • Board certification required
    • PA: NCCPA certification
    • NP: ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)
    • Active DEA license or ability to obtain
    • Ability to treat patients of all ages
    • Active BLS certification
    • EHR proficiency
    • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
    • DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

    Benefits

    • Compensation: $60 - $80/hour (based on experience) + bonus
