    Job Description

    • Evaluate and treat patients following best practices for urgent care and occupational health.
    • Provide respectful, compassionate care aligned with NextCare's mission and values.
    • Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and next steps to patients.
    • Document care within the EHR; accurately code and bill for services rendered.
    • Maintain productivity and quality standards consistent with peers/industry benchmarks.
    • Provide appropriate follow-up and contribute to an excellent patient experience.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Active and unrestricted Colorado medical license
    • Active DEA
    • NCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)
    • NPs: Authorized to treat all ages (e.g., Family NP)
    • Minimum Bachelor's in PA Studies or master's in nursing (NP)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Proficiency with EHR systems
    • Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays (schedule varies by site)
    • Comfortable treating all age groups

    Preferred

    • Prior experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic
    • Suturing skills and initial X-ray interpretation (prior to radiologist over-read)
    • DOT certification (we'll sponsor training if not currently certified)
    • For PAs: Master's in PA Studies

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Hourly base pay: $60.00 - $80.00/hour (based on experience)
