Critical Care - Registered Nurse (RN), Stepdown-Nights

Join our team as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the Stepdown Unit, working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Document patient care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS/BLS is required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred. New grads are welcomed to apply!
