Job Description
- The Operating Room Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Surgical Services in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing service in the surgical services OR and Endo areas. He/She makes workload assignments and oversees patient flow/safety throughout surgical services in addition to a specific patient assignment.
Requirements
- Applicants should have a current state RN license.
- Preferred minimum work experience: two years' experience as a charge nurse with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competence.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- BCLS within 30 days of hire/transfer; ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer.
