Treatment Coordinator
We are an elite oral surgery practice that is committed to exceptional care for our patients and first-class service to our referring doctors. We are looking for a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help us grow the practice and continue to serve our community with all of their oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.
The role of the Treatment Coordinator is critical in providing exceptional patient care resulting in the best clinical outcomes and meeting the needs of our patients.
Job Description
- Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, provide cost estimates, and collect patient financial responsibility.
- Manage the doctor's schedule and any communications with patients and referring offices.
- Provide concierge-level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
- Update and maintain patient insurance information.
- Maintain the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient use of the doctor's time.
- Partner with the clinical team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work against the patient schedule.
- Collect payments from patients in an effective and professional manner.
- Understand doctor treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans from diagnosis.
- Effectively communicate treatment options and associated costs to the patient.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of customer service experience required.
- Medical or dental experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of dental terminology.
- Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence.
- Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other team members.

Compensation Details
$18-$20 Hourly Wage
