Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description:

• Provides laboratory services by performing laboratory testing of any level (high, moderate, or low complexity) as well as waived tests.
• Assumes responsibility for all stages of laboratory service (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical).
• Instructs in laboratory medicine.

• Required: CLS(NCA) (Clinical Laboratory Scientist - National Credentialing Agency), MLS(ASCP) (Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology), MT(ASCP) (Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology), MT-AMT (Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologist)

Education:

• Required: Bachelors in Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory, or Medical Technology
