Requirements

• PA with board certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants
• Experience in neurology or neurosurgery
• Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives
• Desire to be part of a growing and high-volume outpatient practice

Practice Overview

• The neurosurgery team currently includes four neurosurgeons and six APPs, six ambulatory APPs, and four inpatient APPs
• Responsibilities include performing patient histories, assisting with treatment plans, and managing post-operative care
• Prepare complex patients for spinal and cranial surgeries with surgeon supervision including inpatient rounding and surgical first assist
• EMR - EPIC
• Work Monday to Friday with shared weekend coverage
• Office locations could include Gainesville, Buford, Braselton, and potentially Dawsonville
• The ideal candidate will possess a mature, calm, even-keeled personality and compassionate manner. A self-starter mentality and excellent work ethic along with a positive, flexible attitude are critical
