Locums Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Cardiology Physician to provide hospital coverage and imaging interpretation in Williamsport, PA. This position includes inpatient rounding, consults, image reading (EKGs, stress tests, monitors, echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, cardiac MRI), TEEs, and occasional proctoring of stress tests. A PA-C will assist in the mornings most days.

Job Description

• 24-hour call coverage (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Hospital coverage & imaging interpretation
  • 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM: Off-site call (must stay within 30 minutes of the hospital; multiple hotels nearby)
• Types of Calls: In-house & telephone, with a 30-minute response time
• Average Admissions While on Call: 5

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License
• ACLS & BLS Certification
• Must stay within 30 minutes of the hospital
