Locums Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Gastroenterology Physician to join our team in Bay City, MI. This position involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology care in a hospital setting with weekday and weekend coverage.

Job Description

• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions
• Perform required procedures such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Manage a variety of gastrointestinal cases, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to support patient needs, including providing on-call coverage during designated shifts

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates will not be accepted)
• A valid Michigan state medical license is required. Candidates with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered if the dates are 60+ days out, with proof of Letter of Qualification (LOQ) for IMLC
• Active DEA license is required
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
• Must have experience in performing ERCP procedures
