Locums Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a skilled Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in Carlisle, PA. This position focuses on hospital call coverage only, with no outpatient responsibilities. The provider will be expected to cover a minimum of 7 days per month, with call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

• Provide hospital-based consults and procedures as needed.
• Round on patients admitted to the floors as well as those seen in the emergency department (ED). Rounding is anticipated to take approximately 1-2 hours per day during your on-call shifts.
• Perform procedures including colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), with preferred experience in ERCP, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Pennsylvania State License required (IMLC accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ERCP experience preferred
