Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join our established practice at a critical access hospital serving a large rural community with a significant need for urological services.

Job Description

• Practice setting includes inpatient, outpatient, OR, and emergency consultations
• Patient volume of 8-15+ patients daily with 3-8 procedures weekly
• OR schedule of 2 days per week in the operating room
• Call requirements of 10 days per month
• New graduates welcome

Clinical Responsibilities

Surgical Procedures:

• Biopsies and kidney stone procedures
• Diagnostic imaging-guided interventions
• Cancer treatment procedures

Office-Based Services:

• Urodynamics testing
• Office biopsies and vasectomies
• Lupron injections and bladder scans
• General urological consultations

Hospital Services:

• Emergency department consultations
• Inpatient consultations and management
• Collaborative care with other specialties

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology
• Urogynecology experience preferred but not required
