    Radiology Technologist

    This Radiology Technologist opportunity is full time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits, and offers a convenient Saturday through Monday day shift schedule. This dynamic individual will perform a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department and is responsible for patient safety protocols. This individual is responsible for knowing all related policy and procedures and functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.

    Job Description

    • Demonstrates knowledge of positioning patients for exams
    • Correctly formulates radiographic exposure factors and use of phototiming
    • Thorough knowledge and skill in administration, side effects, and complications of contrast media
    • Recognizes and appropriately handles changes in exams and procedures for the patient

    Qualifications

    • High school graduate; BS degree preferred
    • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (within 6 months of hire)
    • Current BCLS certification
