• Hospitalist with a growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system.
• Location is a 114-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Ahoskie, NC. Ability to live in nearby Greenville, North Carolina or Edenton, NC.
• Beautiful beaches and waterfront scenery nearby.
• The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.
• High-quality hospitalist team inclusive of 8 physicians.
• 7on/7off 7am-7pm schedule, no night shifts required.
• Anticipated inpatient volume per provider is 14-16 patients per day.
• Coverage includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit.
• Short-term vent management will be required.
• Optional procedures include CVP, intubations, and lumbar punctures.
• Tele ICU support available.
• Specialty support includes general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary and respiratory, radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, and dermatology.
• In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible: Internal Medicine Physician or Family Medicine Physician.
• Eligible to hold North Carolina state medical license.
• Must have at least 1 year of hospitalist experience.
