Established Primary Care group seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Chester, NJ! This position is located just 40 minutes from Newark and offers a stable and independent group environment.

Job Description

• Location: Chester, NJ (40 minutes to Newark)
• Group has 2 locations, with the other office based in Hackettstown, NJ
• Internal Medicine Physician
• 100% Outpatient Primary Care Clinic Setting
• Typical volume: 20-22 patients per day
• M-F schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, with one day per week staying until 7 PM
• Weekend call: Cover 9 AM - 1 PM every third Saturday
• Call by phone is 1:3 for evenings
• 2 other Internal Medicine physicians and 3 Pediatricians on staff
• Assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care
• Provide high-value care considering risks, benefits, and patient preferences when making diagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions
• Document all patient care activities and services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain a New Jersey State Medical License
