    Nephrologist

    Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a Nephrologist in our Danbury, Connecticut practice location, located about 60 minutes outside of New York City. Danbury is in suburban Fairfield County and nearby to Westchester County in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join our long-established and growing team of 5 nephrologists who share call equally at one hospital location next to our practice office and local dialysis centers. Sign on and relocation bonus are available. Unfortunately, no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

    The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Nephrology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. This is an employed position, and we offer a highly competitive total compensation package, excellent benefits, paid time off, and allowance for CME and dues.

    New and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Teaching residents is an important part of our practice. There is also opportunity for academic affiliation, with optional university faculty appointment, as well as research opportunities for interested candidates.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine with successful completion of Nephrology Fellowship and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
    • CT State license, CSR and Federal Narcotic Use Registration (DEA)
    • New Nephrology Fellows as well as experienced Nephrology Fellows are encouraged to apply
    • Ability to work Monday - Friday in the outpatient practice and take call one week every 5 weeks inpatient in Danbury Hospital
    • Unrestricted US Work authorization required

    Salary Range

    $300,000 - $450,000 annually commensurate or relative to experience
