Job Description
- Program Start Date: Expected August 27, 2024
- 24 Hour Shifts
- Hospitalists to provide GYN coverage for emergency GYN cases
- Hospitalists needed for first assist
- Backup available to the hospitalists for OB/GYN ED call
- Hospitalists to back up midwives
- Program goals include driving quality and safety for the OB service line, maintaining a consistent high-functioning OB hospitalist team, and supporting community practices to meet patient needs.

Community Overview

Mercy Medical Center is proud to offer state-of-the-art labor and delivery services. The labor and delivery team includes board-certified obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, obstetrical nurses, lactation consultants, in-house anesthesiologists, and neonatologists/pediatricians available 24/7. Mercy Medical Center also has a Level III NICU and currently performs approximately 860 annual deliveries.
