    OB/GYN and OB Nocturnist

    Ochsner LSU Health System-Monroe Medical Center & LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport is seeking applicants for OB/GYN and OB nocturnist positions in Monroe, LA. Must be board certified/board eligible in OB/Gyn and eligible for active Louisiana medical licensure. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. J1 visa accepted. The incumbent will be responsible for clinical practice focusing on patients in both the inpatient and outpatient locations and provide clinical instruction to students and residents.

    Monitors patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment as necessary. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure the health and safety of both infant and mother.

    • Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient
