Endocrinologist

Ochsner LSU Health System and Louisiana State University Health Science Center- Shreveport seeks a BE/BC Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position at an academic rank determined by level of experience and qualifications. The practice sees patients with common and rare endocrine conditions and is supported by strong departments of Medical and Surgical Oncology, ENT-Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neuro-ophthalmology, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, and more.

Job Description

• Participate in all faculty activities, including medical student, house staff, and fellowship teaching responsibilities
• Provide patient care in outpatient clinics
• Conduct in-patient consultations to hospital services including surgical services, ob-gyn, labor and delivery, and psychiatry
• Engage in clinical or lab research
• Participate in community service

Requirements

• MD or equivalent terminal degree
• Qualify for a Louisiana medical license
• BE/BC in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
