Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology

Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Montalba, TX. TX license preferred.

Job Description

• Coverage: 24hr call.
• Preferred specialty skills: Low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds - performance of, interpretation, Level I/screening (viability), Level II/targeted (anatomic), amniocentesis, routine delivery, vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section, complicated delivery, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc., surgical gynecology - open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubation, operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs, laser certification.
• Call type: Beeper.
• Practice settings: Inpatient.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• NRP required.
• ACLS, ABLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
• Licensed in TX only.
• EMR: MEDHOST.
• Credentialing: 1 week for temps.
• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• Competitive rate weeknight call premium if called in; weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
