Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist

Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Dardanelle, AR. AR license preferred.

Job Description

• Looking for clinic coverage as well as overnight and weekend call.
• Weekend coverage starts Friday 8 am till Monday 8 am.
• Schedule for clinic 4 days/week 8 am - 4 pm with an hour lunch.
• Call will be 1:4.
• Call Type: Beeper.
• No CNM's for hospital but NP's help in practice.
• In-house lab and ultrasound.
• NST on site.
• Required Specialty Skills: Low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic), Routine delivery, Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery. C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's, Laser certification.
• Preferred Specialty Skills: High risk pregnancy, Amniocentesis.
• Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, Fetal Monitoring.
• Licensed in AR or IMLC.
• Level 3 Trauma.
• EMR: Athena & Meditech.
• Credentialing: Expedited privileges available for providers with CLEAN histories.
• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
