Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist

Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Westfield, IN. IN license preferred.

Job Description

• Ambulatory/Clinic Only 8A - 4P.
• Full Scope Generalist/Clinic and Call: 7a to 7a.
• Rounding from 7a to 9a, start clinic 9a to 4p then sign out to laborist and be on pager call until 7a.
• Evening/Night Call: Sign out to Laborist at 4:00 PM and remain on pager call until 7:00 AM the following day.
• Call Type: Beeper.
• Practice Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient.
• Required Specialty Skills: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, Amniocentesis, Routine delivery, Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc., Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive, LOA's.
• BLS.
• Licensed in IN or IMLC.
• Level 1 Trauma.
• Average number of deliveries per year: 2,000.
• EMR: Cerner.
• Credentialing: 90 days.
• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• Competitive rate weeknight call premium if called in; weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
