Locum OBGYN

Locum OBGYN needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Bonnetsville, NC. NC license preferred.

Job Description

• Call Type: Beeper.
• Provider will round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Provider also available for any emergent GYN procedures.
• High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility).
• High risk transfer to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU - both approximately 30-45 minutes away.
• Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional.
• Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on-call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on-call Radiology support, average 27 deliveries monthly with an average of 11 C-sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum, census is typically 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour period.
• Hospital will call cell phone.
• EMR: MediTech 6.1.
• NC Medicaid and Medicare.
• ACLS, ABLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
• Licensed in NC only.
• Credentialing: 2 weeks.
• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• Competitive rate weeknight call premium if called in, weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
