Locum Gastroenterologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Harvey, MI. M license preferred.

Job Description

• Need for MI licensed provider to cover the following dates:

  • 3/10/25 (7am) - 3/17/25 (7am)
  • 3/28/25 (7am) - 4/1/25 (7am)
  • 6/3 (7am) - 6/6 (7am)
  • 7/4 (7am) - 7/7 (7am)
  • 8/22 (7am) - 8/25 (7am)

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 hour shift with an hour lunch (8 hours billable) with 15 hour call shift overnight.

• Weekend call 24 hours.

• The site is looking for complete block coverage.

• Hospital/procedures + call.

• EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement.

• ERCP/EUS preferred.

• 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites.

• Olympus, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy, Paragon & EndoPro EMR, Propofol.

• Well established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team.

• Average 12 patients per day.

• Licensed in MI only.

• EMR: Cerner and Athena.

• Credentialing: 60 days.

• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.

• Competitive rate weeknight call premium if called in, weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
