Locum Anesthesiologist

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Woodland Heights, PA. PA license preferred.

Job Description

• Shifts: 7:00-3:00 can run longer depending on case load.
• 2 weeks/month minimum.
• Cases: General B+B, OB, Ortho, Neuro spine, occasional Peds.
• Call is approximately 2 days/week including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
• Weekend cases are on-call emergency cases (no scheduled cases).
• Physicians are not required to be in-house when on call but need to be within 30 minutes of the hospital.
• Medical direction: 1:1 - 1:3 ratio depending on the day.
• 5 ORs, 2 endoscopy rooms, 1 cystoscopy room, 1 cesarean section room, and 3 L&D rooms.
• Runs 5-6 sites/day.
• Electronic charting and the Cerner-based SAA system.
• Credentialing: 60-90 days.
• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• Competitive rate weeknight call premium if called in; weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day premium when called in.
