Contract Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our team on a government contract in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing top-notch dental care and education to patients, possess strong clinical skills, and exhibit excellent communication abilities.

Job Description

• Conduct oral health assessments and evaluate patients' oral hygiene.
• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, and apply fluoride and sealants.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards.
• Manage and maintain dental equipment and sterilization procedures.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Dental Hygienist License in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a background and credit check.
