Athens, Ohio is located in the eastern part of the state, flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh is just over the state line) and Northern West Virginia, and is less than 2 hours east of Columbus, OH.

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP - Pending Credentialing
• Shift: Varied - 24-hour in-house coverage with weekend requirements. (Flexible scheduling to create work/life balance for you)
• Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This cost-effective, cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Collaboration with community OBs in a highly supportive and cohesive group
• Ensure continuity, quality, and safety
• Real-time communication with office physicians of triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
• Improved outcomes, enhanced experience, and reduced costs
• Multidisciplinary OB critical care
• 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Management of OB/GYN ER patients

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• OH License Preferred or Active IMLC
• Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience
